Gymnasium membership

Hi.

My wife's local gym has just reopened about 2 months ago after the Covid lockdown and due to demand she has not been able to book a Pilates class since then so she tried to cancel her prepaid membership. They are refusing to refund the remaining 6 months or so of her membership.

They will allow her to give 30 days notice and cancel but they won't refund the unused money.

Can anyone help please?
