Hi I need some advises on the following. We just had a roof replaced for a garage, we found a builder on findatrade.com and thought that he was genuine. But its only when he started the job that we figured out that he was not trustworthy and he sent someone who doesnt know anything about replacing a roof to do the job. at the end he had to do the job again but he also manipulate us in thinking that the whole ceiling inside had to come down as it was all wet, which was not the case. on top we just find out he is trading on a dissolved / strike-off company name which he is using on his invoice and now we know that the 20 years of guarantee that we believed we had doesnt mean anything. We paid him only part of the money as we could get the 20 years guarantee and we need now to replace the ceiling too. He is threatening us that if he dont pay him , he will send us to court. I really dont need any more headache from this, any kind of advice will be appreciated.*
