Hello, I am new on here and was looking for some help with a situation i have with Bunnings UK. My wife went in and brought some solar lights for the garden, She got home and badly sliced her thumb on the solar panel glass as the way they are made means they stand proud to the case of the light, so there is a edge of sharp glass there to cut yourself on. I sent pictures of this to Bunnings and explained what had happened and why and that the lights are dangerous. Their response to me was, Sorry about my wife hope she is OK have a five pound gift card. I wrote back and said that was no tmy point of the email, more to let them know to stop it happening again and maybe to a child. Again their response was, Sorry but all we offer is five pounds take it or leave it. I find this kind of response totally unacceptable from a large company like this. Is this the reply i should be happy with or should i take it further?
