Solar Panels Incorrectly Installed, Installers Refuse to Backup Their Warranty.

    The contract has one point about the warranty of workmanship, particularly under "Our main obligations to you": "we will provide you with a guarantee that covers both the installation and the goods installed."

    There is no more specific information about this guarantee so we're fairly certain there is a reason that they have not provided us with this guarantee in the first place.

    And ... trading standards ... worth lodging a complaint about the botched install backed up with your repair guys report .... they might have had other complaints so could assist any investigation.
    We have just sent out the Subject Access Request so that has got the ball rolling there and we will definitely get in touch with trading standards, interestingly the repairman said he had heard issues from lots of other customers and whilst poking around on google I found a few complaints that had been posted up on various forums etc, would I benefit from trying to get in touch with any of these people?

    I am also updating the original post with more details on how the installation was done incorrectly.
