Hi All
This may sound kinda petty and stupid but you would not believe what happened to me today!
I did my usual weekly online shop from Asda for home delivery yesterday. The transaction was successful and my shopping was scheduled to be delivered between 12 and 2pm today..
However,something so simple has turned out to be one big farce ! I have been 'searching' for my 'lost' shopping all day and it is no-where to be seen.
Apparently ,the delivery driver had 'rung' on my doorbell 3 times at 2pm and he said there was no answer. Unless I was abducted by aliens today or knocked unconscious, then I am pretty sure I was in all day and I would of heard my door bell ring.
Ive been on the phone back and forth most of this afternoon and evening complaining to the deputy manager and night manager of the store. They have both sworn to me that the delivery driver had delivered my shopping at approx 2pm to my neighbors at number 10 ( I'm number 11) ( if this is the case, then someone in the family should of signed for it. ) I knocked on number 10s door this late afternoon, with no reply.
The whole family have been out most of the day, (new birth in the family)so I had to wait til they came back to see if I could 'retrieve' my shopping.
They got back at approx 9.45pm. Its very lucky that I am friends with them to knock so late in the evening, otherwise I would of had to wait til tomorrow morning.
Anyway, my neighbors say they have not taken any shopping in. So I am back to square one still 'hunting' for my stuff. I got another call from the manager an hour ago promising to investigate this fiasco. Hate to say it, but someone is lying.
Sad thing is, I have always been a loyal online shopper and enjoy my shops at Asda, but this is not the first time my shopping as gone 'astray'. Also, I have frozen products sitting in those bags.
I think my sense of humor kept me going today, but I am now getting to breaking point,and don't need this while I'm getting over a chest infection
Anyone got any ideas?
