Mortgage Express and CCJ?

Hi,

Can someone please tell me whether an existing (and in timely manner paid) mortgage with Mortgage Express affected in any way if someone suddenly receives a CCJ?

Can they consolidate the debt? do they have rights to call in the mortgage loan?
would they check it or gets it flagged to them?

I dont think that having a CCJ would affect your up to date mortgage with MEX, but it all depends on what your mortgage terms and conditions say.

I do know that MEX are trying every trick in the book to get rid of the BTL mortgages they have granted.
