Does the SOL act cover the HMRC? they are pursuing me for £500 for tax going back to 2003/2004 as a sole trader. I have not been in contact with them about this, it has come out of the blue? can they still chase me for it?

Try could try and make an arrangement with them but will HMRC be reasonable here because it is an old debt. They have not been reasonable of late and now they use debt collectors who as we all know are totally useless.
