Hi, I am trying to understand what chances there are of a LTD company being struck off, related to these circumstances.
This is the Gov guidance on this subject, and refers to "creditors" and "they owe you money"
https://www.gov.uk/object-to-a-limited-company-being-struck-off
When you can object
You can object to a limited company being struck off the Companies Register if:
• you are a shareholder or other interested party, such as a creditor
• you have a reason to stop the company being removed from the register - for example, you have a legal claim against them or they owe you money
You can only object after notice that the company is going to be struck off has been published in The Gazette.
You must have evidence to support your objection - for example, invoices or other evidence showing the company owes you money.
If a company (let's call it 'Company X') who you have never contracted with, sends you an invoice for an alleged copyright infringement, the infringement is disputed, whether or not there was an actual 100% infringement is a bit of a grey area, and no legal claim has yet been initiated by Company X... in these circumstances is Company X a creditor (or some other type of entity) with the power to prevent your company being struck off?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thank you
