  • Solicitor regulations and laws

Hi if we instruct in Scotland privately as an individual a solicitor to buy a property, consisting of land with a workshop, can we ask that it will be gifted to a limited company and the deeds contracts all be made in that LTD company name? Are there any rules or laws why the solicitors are prohibited from doing this?

This would not be a problem in England and Wales. Let's see if one of our Scottish members says otherwise.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
