Voluntary Liquidation

Hello,

Is it illegal for a company to continue trading whilst in voluntary liquidation?

Also is it illegal for that same company to refuse to provide invoices or receipts.

This is unusual. Is the liquidator doing this? If not, does the liquidator know?

It would be if you made losses, but once the company has gone into liquidation, the directors should not trade or be personally liable. Ask your accountant for guidance to avoid claims on personal assets.
