The next Bank Holiday in 2017 in England and Wales is August 28th ( Summer Bank Holiday ). Your payment should be made on the Friday 25th August.
If it’s a bank holiday in the UK your benefits and tax credits payments should be early.
Benefits are usually paid straight into your bank, building society or credit union account.

If Monday is your normal payment day you should receive your payment on the Friday before, unless that is also a bank holiday, in which case you will be paid on Thursday. If your normal payment is made on Friday and it is a bank holiday you should be paid on Thursday.
