I have received my SARS from Welcome and am now currently waiting to hear from Aviva (the underwriters) about my claim. I stupidly took out a £5,000 loan although the PPI added was a further £1,464 which was front loaded. We were advised we wouldn't get the loan unless we took out the protection. The loan was over a 10 year period and I don't even want to admit how much we paid back over that time period! Anyway we paid it back in 2007.
Can anyone advise if they have had any success dealing with Aviva for reclaims? I was told over the phone that claims are normally being judged between 4-5 weeks.
