Would really welcome some advice please

Me and my partner had a claim for PPI going through in 2011, two out of three credit cards agreed to pay, the third one Barclaycard, decided to dispute our claim, we were informed by The Claims Guys that it was going to go to the Financial Ombudsman Service, last correspondence we had from them was in June 2012 to state this, and then apparently in May 2013 it was decided they would be paying us, because we had no correspondence with either Barclaycard or The Claims guys, we put the file to bed (so to speak) and we moved in September 2013, unbeknown to us both companies had sent correspondence to us at our original address, but this was never received, in Dec 2014 we had a sheriff's letter put through the door at our new address, claiming that we owed The Claims Guys in excess of £980.43 and had accrued fees with the sheriffs office of nearly £1,000, no money has been paid to us from Barclaycard, we have spoken to the CAB, Financial Ombudsman Service and the Ministry of Justice to no avail, I have asked The Claims Guys to now send all correspondence to us, including invoices that we paid as when we received them, I would like some advice as to what you think we should now do!!!!!!
