What are the views on reclaiming ppi on Statute Barred debts. My sister in law has just had nearly £8000 back from debts that had not been paid.
My concern is awaking a sleeping dog. It seems to me that more claims are now being paid directly to the debtor rather than to offset any outstanding debt, is this correct?
If debts were long ago sold on, are they more likely to be paid directly to the debtor?
Any thoughts on the above, or any other apsects of ppi and SB debt?
