I was wondering if anyone could offer me some guidance. In late 2012 my father asked me to look into a PPi reclaim, he was very unwell at the time. The PPI was sold on a loan brokered by loans.co.uk He found out all the paper work & I started researching the process. Unfortunately events overtook us & my father sadly passed away before we could submit a claim. As I am now dealing with his estate, I submitted the claim anyway & I have received a letter informing me they have upheld the complaint. Having done a little more digging since receiving this letter, I notice a lot of people complaining loans.co.uk take months to settle the claim after confirming the complaint has been upheld. This could cause some issues as really I can't settle the Estate until these funds are received. So my question is, how long have they got to 1. tell me how much they are repaying & 2. pay out the funds? Is there anything I can do to expedite this process? Any guidance would be appreciated.
