  • Is my HSBC PPI offer correct?

    Hello,

    This is my first post here after today receiving an offer from HSBC for a small claim I put in regarding PPI. I would just like some of your expert opinions on whether this claim should be accepted as it gives me the option to either accept it or take it further per se. Here are some verbatim outlines which I think may help you;

    I am prepared to uphold your complaint and I have outline below how I intend to resolve the matter. As your complaint has been upheld, I have not addressed the individual issues raised.

    I am offerring to pay redress of £190.** in full and final settlement of your complaint...
    The offer is then broke down as;

    1) £148. PPI premiums October '07 to May '12
    2) £9. interest that has been debited from your card
    3) £33. 'simple interest at 8%'
    Do any of you have any thoughts on this?

    Thank you for your help!
