  • Long term success

Way back in around 2003 I started to rack up debt. In about 2006 it hit crisis point and I went into a dmp. By 2011 I lost my job and was looking at bankruptcy but was persuaded to look at unenforceability. I started that journey with 50k of debt, I had paid back about 15K . Gradually I got rid of all these debts which became either unenforceable or time barred. I gradually started to get the odd credit card with the likes of capital one but now have an array of cards across all major brands including all the people I owed money to. Today I was accepted for an AMEX BAcard . I have around 70K of available credit but am going to close one NatWest and one Tesco that I don’t use. The ones I like are the ones I can use when travelling without charges, I have a few that are EU only and three that are worldwide .

It can be done, I have a job that is essentially real living wage , no debt, a madman who I’ve been with for 18 years and have never been happier.

Just to say, it can be done.
