  • Looking for advice against creditors

    Hello,

I wonder what kind of advisor can help me the best against creditors. There are some old debts on things like credit cards which the companies sold to those companies that send you letters saying you owe them money.
I have reached the age of retirement but still work as the pension money is not enough. My credit is already zero because of this and the debts. If I declare bankruptcy it will not make any difference, I still have to pay for everything in advance. For this reason I am not prepared to give what little money I have left to these people.

So I need somebody who can give me creative advice to protect the money I have got left. Will it be an accountant, an (expensive) solicitor or somebody who specialises in debt advice? Please advice.

I do not want the Citizens Advice Bureau people as all they do is to try and make plans to repay debts. They are not creative about it.

Nobody has started court action against me but they may do it at any time.

    Thanks
