Hi,i hope im posting on the correct forum.
i am really just looking for some general advice regarding bh & default notice.
My problem is that i took out 3 items from them around 3mth ago & it was all going great until i allowed my ex's brother to stay at my place when i went to work coz he had nowhere to go,long story short he took the TV,Hoover & laptop,but i cant report it to the police because im in breech of my tenancy for letting someone stay,i will be evicted because it happened to someone else a few flats along from me.
BH are now banging my door everyday,ive not spoken to them because ive heard if i DO open the door it is classed as making contact,but if i dont open the door,after 3mths they just send the account to a civil court who will order me to repay but i wont have to give the things back.
so basically i just want to know,what will happen to me if i continue to just ignore them?,and is it true about the 3mths thing?
