Hi guys, long time viewer first time poster. I've been racking my brains this past weekend searching like a mad man but decided to finally ask personally here.
I need to update Lowells of my new address to prevent any kind of 'backdoor' CCJ for an old debt which I'm sure is over 7 years. It was a bank OD which kept piling up and I couldn't afford
the charges and noway it was ever going to get paid off. All 3 of my reports are not showing this but Lowells is still sending letters.
I don't have my Lowells account number but if I were to send a recorded letter to their address informing them of my address change should this stop any unwanted surprises in the future or will this just make them send even more?
Do I have I the right idea? From what I understand they could still pursue a CCJ to an old address.
Thank you
