Hi,
advice needed....
my father sadly passed away recently. He was a regular saver with a credit union. When he opened his account some time ago he was told his shares would be trebled. When we went to close his account we were paid to the exact penny! I asked about what my dad had told us and they told us that this had changed and news letters had been sent to inform of this. We have family in other credit unions who still offer the money in event of death. Surly previous members who were given this info upon joining this should be honoured? I may be wrong. My dad didn't have life insurance because he thought his shares would be trebled. Thank you for your time in reading this x
