Recently had a letter from Metro Bank regarding closure of my account and termination of banking relationship with myself and was asked to check if CIFAS held any details of myself.
did a DSAR request with CIFAS and noticed that a application for a current account was rejected with Virgin money and was logged to CIFAS for not declaring a previous address and having bad credit.
The entry seems to be down as false application
This seems to of been loaded in Feb 2022 obviously as been quite a while ago I don’t remember the full application or how it was submitted but my main concerns are in the questions below.
Few questions -
— Can I get this removed?
- Are all my bank accounts going to get closed?
I have raised a dispute with Virgin money as I believe it’s a little excessive.
