  • Goods sent 5 months after default notice - Next Directory

My son in law, on 07/05/2010, went into default for £208 with Next Directories. He made stage paymenst and on his credit report, it showed 0 blance for August and September. Then in October £58, more goods shipped still showed as red circle on Experian report. Settled to 0 following month.

They want to buy a house and this is causing a problem.

My thought was that if they after sending defualt notice, then sent goods, are they not by implication saying that the default notice was invalid. ie You have a default notice on your account, that they then ignore.

I have spoekn to Next , who have been very helpful, but they do say that they can't remove as the default , as the financial services will not let them change files for no good reason (?)

    ANY THOUGHTS ON NEXT STEP
