  • Debt Case struck out of court - next steps?

    Hi all,

I am new here and was wanting some advice about some debts I am being chased for.

To cut a long story short, a debt company was chasing me for 3 debts and trying to take me to court for them. The total debt was for 5K to which i argued as I had no idea who they were for and where they had come from.

I sent my defence to court, to which they asked the company the provide the following -

    Account Agreements.

    Notice of Assignments

    Default notices.

They sent across credit agreements in the wrong address and they unable to provide any default notices for 2 of the debts at all, the others were sent to my old address after I had moved.

As you can imagine the case was swiftly thrown out of court, I've signed up to view my credit file and my ask is what do i do now as they are all showing as defaults every month.

The first debt - No date on credit agreement. Credit agreement has my new address on it yet the letter of assignment was sent to my old address. How can a credit agreement be in my new address but they send this to my old? Two years after i moved?? No default notices provided at all.

Second debt - Assignment sent to my old address, no default notices provided at all.

Third debt -* No default notices at all and the company they are saying i owe this to is actually showing as settled on my credit file......

Can i argue these all on my credit file to be removed due to these issues? And if i can what do i need to do? I don't see how this company can put these defaults on my credit file why they can't provide the required information to myself or the courts?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    Sarah*
