Hi there.
i had to do a credit check on myself as I have just arrived back in the UK from being away for 4.5yrs. I thought my ex husband was going to settle any outstanding debt........yes, silly and ignorant I know.
I would now like to know if experian was allowed to sell the telephone number that I was calling from onto capquest? I asked them and they said the number I was calling from had showed up on their screen but that they would not sell it on. Clearly someone did as capquest got it and told me the bought it from Experian and I was wondering if this was legal? It was an ex directory TPS barred number and someone's business line. It is in no way or form connected to me.
Experian said they would investigate and get back to me within 24hrs and this was 3 days ago........where do I stand?
