  • Catalouge Fraud & CRA Default Removal

    Hi all.

First post so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

So my credit file is reporting a default of £67, for what appears to be a £35 unpaid Studio account. The account is in my name and registered at an old address, but opened whilst I lived there.

I've reported the account via Action for Fraud and wrote to Studio and Intrum DCA, providing them with the CRN and asking them to remove the account from my credit file.
Intrum have responded refusing to remove the default, and stating they will put the account on hold whilst Studio's fraud team investigate the alleged fraud. Studio have failed to acknowledge or respond to my letter in 4 weeks.

I have also requested removal via the CRAs however upon contact both Studio and Intrum have informed them the data is correct.

Could anyone advise how to proceed with this, and what reasonable timescales I should be expecting to wait for correspondence?

    TIA.
