    2) £457 totted up in charges including one charge pre-6yrs
    3) Decided to add CI after reading up notoriously about it
    4) Sent initial prelim requesting £1126.76
    5) Received paltry settlement offers (namely £60, and £246) which were duly rejected
    6) Received letters from Halifax categorically stating that they would not pay more
    7) Fired off LBA after 14 days
    8) Filed court claim on 19th Oct 2006 for £1393.11 plus court fee/interest etc

    11) Sent off court bundle on 24th Jan 2007
    12) Received a phone call on 30th Jan from a Jamie Magill to discuss settlement. He disputed many things first and tried to fob me off, but I stuck to my guns. A bit of banter and to-ing and fro-ing on the phone and he finally folded and asked me what I would take to settle the claim. I gave him the full up-to-date figure of £1543.80.

    13) Money was in my account within an hour of that final conversation :cheer2:
