    [FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']Although this period includes the Christmas recess, there’s still a lot to report![/font]
    [FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']At the end of last year, the Joint Select Committee on Human Rights, which I chair, published our final report of the calendar year - on bankers’ bonuses. Some had suggested that the proposed restrictions on bankers’ bonuses were in breach of their human rights. I am pleased to say we came to a different conclusion, and there is no human rights obstacle to the government’s plans. You can find our report at:[/font]
