  • loan acc confusion

    hi there.
this is a bit confusing to explain but here goes.
My natwest unemployment insurance gets paid to natwest current account then goes direct debit to pay natwest loan.
tried to cancel dd so wouldnt get charges if insurance isnt paid on time but they wouldnt let me.
dont use this acc apart from this, went in one day to find out about the acc, they tell me they have cancelled the dd themselves.
have money sitting in the current account that the insurance has been paying, when i asked what it was there for was told that they cancelled the dd and i should be transferring the money to my loan account every month by going in there personally.
I rcieved no notification that the dd was cancelled or told that i would need to do this.
the weird part is that when i ask about the state of my loan account, they tell me it is all up to date.
so if it wasnt being transferred to the loan account then surely they should have written to say i was in arrears?????HELP
