  • Biliff Distress Warrant

HI. I am wondering how I may be able to request the Magistrates Court to suspend or withdraw a Distress Warrant. The Magistrates fined me 715 but this was reduced by the Crown Court after I appealed to £150 plus £100 costs and agreed to pay monthly payments of £20. I was waiting for correspondence from the Crown Court of details as how and where to make the payments. I did not receive such correspondence from Crown Court. The net thing I knew was a letter from the bailiff requesting immediate and full payment of £315 which they said included their fee of £75. I contacted the Magistrates to explain that I did not receice any notification on how and where to make payments. I was told that it was too late now as a distress warrant had been issued and I must deal with the bailiff now.
Could any one help with advice please.

    Many thanks
