  • Final Notice of Removal

    Hi all,

Ive received a final notice of removal from what appears to be a legit bailiff. The debt is from my LTD company. The company is registered to my home address. Long story short, the debt is legit and I don't deny it but will take me several years to correct. I've hit rock bottom, lost my company, mental health, jobloss shortly after etc. I recently got my life back on track and feel I have the strength again to take on life and do what needs to be done.

I am about to leave the country for a contract job in Europe for 2 months. I leave in 3 days.

The debt is for my LTD company as I mentioned. Can the bailiff come to my house in my absence (while out of country) and take my car from my driveway or enter my house and take my personal items and belongings and claim it against the debt of my company?

My company owns nothing, has had zero revenue for over a year and is essentially worthless. However, my house has my belongings.

I don't want to leave my wife to fight a battle on my behalf that has nothing to do with her and will obviously stress her out with me not even being at home.

I intend to contact the bailiff and see if arrangements can be made for monthly repayment or something, but I just want to know if they can take my belongings against the debt of my company?
