  • The Bailiff process

    Hi Folks

I have a debt for Council Tax, Jacobs are the Company in question.

Firstly I recognise the debt and I tried to sort it but Jacobs simply want to rack up fees.

I received a letter giving me 7 days notice they were moving to the enforcement stage adding £238.00? to my account

A few days later I received a call telling me they would be attending my property on a specific day.

On that specific day I received a text telling me they would be attending today between 6am and 9pm. They did not show, No items were or could have been seized or listed and no documents were posted.

They are now trying to add a further £110.00?

Given they missed this appointment can they continue to pursue the matter.

We both gave up work days to be there to attend to them, can I make a contra claim?

I want them off the case so I can reach terms with my council.
