Seakom Ltd & Anor v Knowledgepool Group Ltd [2014] EWCA Civ 1164 (08 August 2014)
On 23 July 2014 I heard an application by the Respondent and Defendant in the action, Knowledge Pool Group Limited ("the Respondent"), for an order for security for the costs of the appeal. On 24 July 2014 I made an order for security for costs under CPR Rule 25.15 in the sum of £50,000 but otherwise in the terms of the draft order attached to the application notice dated 16 April 2014. I made an order that the appellants in the appeal, and claimants in the action, Seakom Limited and Seakom International Limited (together "the Appellants"), do pay the Respondent's costs of the application which I assessed at £16,000. These are my reasons for that order.
