How to claim against police

I’m struggling to decide what my claim is and the process I should go down. I made a complaint to the oppc against the police who have upheld my complaint and agree that it was a direct result of false information given to probation from the police that got me sent to jail. False information being that “ mr ……… is going to be arrested and questioned about an offence” I was never arrested or questioned just sent to jail for 6 months and by time I got my upheld complaint I was released. This happened a year ago and I was medicated the whole time I was in jail as a result of stress this has caused and still being medicated now. Any suggestions
