I was sent a motoring conviction notice and my name was misspelt, the DVLA paperwork showing my court referral had the original slip the police filled in at the roadside as a photocopy, the letter and fine sent to me had my spelt wrongly very wrongly my surname has 7 letters the paperwork had it spelt with 12 including a misspelt middle name with 3 extra letters, also and more worryingly on the back of the sheet of paper were someone else's fine details giving me their name, address, date of birth, car registration number and signature, as the details were all wrong apart from my registration number which was the only correct detail in the letter do I have to take this fine even though the only correct detail is my Car Reg, and what do I do about the other persons details is this a Data Protection isuue that I should bring to their attention

Thanks in advance for your advice
