  • Optima Legal Letters

    Hi All

I hope someone is able to help me with some advice.

Since December 2016 i have had a few letters from Optima Legal chasing a debt of £19000. This is from when i had my home reposessed in 2009.

I have not had anything from them from the date my home was taken and i am unsure now if it was from a secured loan i had on the house.
I have tried to get some clear info on how long they are allowed to chase this but the last letter stated that they would send someone out to see me if i did not respond in 14 days.

Nothing is on my credit file regarding this and i have since rebuilt my life and I dont want this to cause an issue between me and my new partner.

If anyone can help me with this then it would be of great help as I am starting to get worried.

    Many thanks in advance.
