My daughter's dad (divorced in 2005) came into inheritance of 650K, but would not send his daughter to private school. I figured if he paid all child maintenance arrears he owes over the years, I could send her myself, but CSA phoned me and in whisper told me I need a solicitor for that as they can not collect while he is on some type of incapacity benefit. I wrote to council to say he does not need to be occupying the councils property now or receiving any benefits, because he owns estate of his own and they told me same thing as SCA... I went onto every solicitor in the area who are either do not take legally aided clients or do not know enough about wills or about family. I am out of work for over a year and unable to get advice privately. What is the step forward? Please don't say CIB, they don't know 1st thing about it and their print out of local solicitors are much shorter, than the one I have,
