  • Amazon Card under umbrella of Halifax

    Hi
I wonder if anyone can help please. I'm about to request original CCA. I took out the Amazon Card in Nov 2005. Statements showed it was under umbrella of Halifax. From June 2009 it was Halifax only. When I send request obviously I mean the 2005 agreement. Am I entitled to this or will they try & send a 2009 Halifax agreement? In any situation where a company is sold to another do I have the right to the original CCA from the original creditor? Obviously I'd want these as there is a better chance of success with agreements before April 2007.
Also, template request letters I've seen all seem to be to the DCA & not original creditor. Is there a template to be sent to OC specifically? I am not yet in arrears & wish to send request to creditor before it gets into arrears.
    Thank you
