  • Extension of time to a judges order

Hi I need some help on the following please:
I was recently successful in having a
CCJ & charging order set aside I was also awarded costs. The judge ordered that the claimant must reissue & serve the claim within 28 days & by 2pm.
I now understand that on the 28th day the claimant requested that the court give a further 28 day extension.
Is it legally allowed to request an extension of time to a judges order? I am now 7 days passed the original order date & feeling rather concerned please can anyone help.
    Thanks
    John
