I have a small business and ported my three business phones to sim-only on Vodafone on 30 Jan 2015. From 2 Feb 2015 to 11 Feb 2015 all three lines worked on Vodafone but for some strange reason I could not see two of the numbers on line. I called several times to try to get the two numbers to show on line and was assured this would be resolved.
On 11 Feb, with no notice and no "Vodafone Order" they disconnected two of our three lines. We are reliant on incoming calls for our business so this was serious.
Ever since, I have called 191 and chatted online with them and every time they give me the same story: the problem is being addressed by Customer Relations and the Technical Team and I will get both numbers reconnected in 48h.
I understand the problem arose through "upgrading" to internal processes at Vodafone.
It is 26 March. I was disconnected through no fault of my own on 11 Feb. Our two numbers are "unobtainable" when customers call them.
I would like to claim the consequential damages to my firm, but consequential damages are excluded in the contract. However, under 1 October 2014 amendments to the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations I understand I have an entitlement to seek damages.
Any advice?
