  • Trying it on ?

To cut a long story short I had a debt to a creditor which I disputed the
amount charged however have no evidence of there estimated cist
of £700/£800 ended up £2,500 after they involved a collecting agency issuing a statutory demand I ended up agreeing a full and final settlement of £2000 which was paid to there
To there account and I canceled my set aside application

The £2000 was accepted however paid a day later than the collection company specified
due to me having to borrow the money they accepted it

Following which I have been issued a request for the balance plus costs amounting to £1400 due to being a day late and there excuse is they didn't have enough notice
and took a day off work to attend court the next day ? Rubbish they were e mailed of the
payment being made I now have a court date in January I have been told I can ask the court to request the money to be paid back to the court so I can return to my set aside application based on my claims I am happy not going through this process as I thought thus was out to bed and I believe that it is just the collection company advising the creditor of this move so they can benefit

Can anyone advise me the way forward

    kind regards Clive Mac
