Debt that is not mine

Hi everyone, I am glad I found this site. I have a difficult situation where I am being chased for a debt that is not mine. I do know the person who I believe to be responsible for it and have given them her address (I have told her I have done this). Maybe that was a mistake? I felt very pressured on the phone. In any case they are still persuing me, now by letter. The letters are addressed to my first name and her surname. I don't know how they got my address. They told me that she has supplied them with my details but I don't know if that is true. The person in question has a history of fraud and has financial difficulties. I think I need to write to Lowell but am not sure how to word the letter. The debt is nothing to do with me in any way.
