Car Seizure

Hi, Can anyone advise me please, i have been off work since Janaury due to breaking my collar bone, due to not being able to work i am struggling with all bills but the main one is my Car payment the company were informed numerous times that i was struggling with the payments, but all they kept saying was not their problem and have now issued a notice of seizure on my car i have been paying it for 17 months without any problems until now surely they must be able to help more than they have done.Does anyone know what else i can do im desperate not to lose my car. thanx x
