Hi to everyone. Can someone give me some advice.

Yesterday I transferred £650.00 from my bank account to my partners bank account so she could pay rent.
Today we see that all monies in her account less £100 has been taken by Barclaycard. £641.38 from memory.

My partner contacted her bank and explained that the monies are from housing benefit to pay our rent and they have paid it to barclaycard.

Barclaycard are closed for weekend.
Bank say they can do nothing but talk to barclaycard.

Is this legal ?????
How do i pay my rent.

Can anyone please advise
