Has anyone else had a commissioning of a smart meter issue with Yu Energy - I have an empty property with only two security lights on and am getting bills for an average of £217 a month - they have suggested a side by side test which apparently costs c£600 but DOES NOT address the commissioning (data/software set up with HQ) - and admittedly the meter was not commissioned on site as the engineer (lovely chap) could not get a signal at the property. The matter is now with the Ombudsman, and i fear they may not be (from talking to the investigator) to read up on commissioning errors, and I will have to pay the £675 bill for the last three months since changing to them. Incidentally, my previous supplier EDF was charging £55 a month, I changed as I opted for a no standing monthly usage charge, as nothing was essentially being used.
Yu Energy taking the Michael!
