Textual Amendments in PHA1997
Good Afternoon. I am new to this space. Is there a person here who can provide a teachable explanation of how to understand Textual Amendments in, for example, Protection from Harassment Act 1997? As an example, can you de-construct for me the below, located at https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga...40/section/4A? Textual Amendments

I used to work in contracts but these days I like to read judgements which lead me onto reading law, without enough experience but capacity for logic. Can you teach me something with respect to using the information in quotes?
