My husband has received a Notice of fine and Collection order on Saturday, 14th December for a speeding offence on 3rd May 2024 - which was addressed incorrectly. This was the first paperwork we have received and no Notice of Intended Prosecution has ever been received because we think it has all been sent to the wrong address. The Notice is demanding we pay £398 - £220 fine, Victim Surcharge of £88 and Costs of £90. Is this worth fighting in court as the NIP was not received within 14 days and you have to be prosecuted wthin 6 months?
