Can anyone please tell me what the Land Registry will do if it’s proven that a transfer plan misrepresents the land transferred in terms of exact positions of physical boundary features and dimensions of the plot being transferred? Is the only recourse to take legal action against the transferor or will the Land Registry act upon a report/proof that the plan submitted to them was incorrect? Crucially, will the Land Registry act even if the transferor does not cooperate?
