Hi Everyone - new here and falling with the door into the house (apologies)
Having an issue with a roofer: roof was reroofed and paid for end of November 2022 (ca £6000), and apart from a few issues is looking good. Part of the quote was that I should get a 25 year warranty for materials and labour, issued by the manufacturer of the roofing felt. This, apparently is quite usual.
But I never got the warranty. Roofer has been ignoring me for the last few month. The roofing *felt* firm is saying they did not receive paperwork from roofer - they can't help. CORC, who the roofer is a member of, are saying: not their problem.
What options would I have to make the roofer get the warranty for me as per our agreement? Should I consider a claim in the small claims court, but how do I work out the value of the warranty? I can't see a way to claim for a warranty.
