  • Neighbours scaffold woes

Next door extending above garage and my side-way , back door along to garage side door and gate to driveway , is getting "their building stuff" falling /thrown onto my natural stone pathway . The fresh mortar being "flicked " 5 or 6 feet onto my side being the biggest problem as it has to be removed before it dries . I've asked them to put up some of that fine plastic netting but they've refused and claim that I'm being petty . It would cost a few quid surely ? I have always been a VERY obliging neighbour . Surely it's there responsibilty to ensure that NOTHING flies over the fence from them working , and surely MY safety should be taken into account . Dust if one thing , cut bricks , fresh mortar etc shouild not be coming our way . Our buildings are approx 9-10 ft apart .
